About the Islamic Foundation of South Florida
IFSF has been dedicated to the service of Allah SWT by serving the Muslim Community for the last 23 years. Our mission has been focused on helping our community grow in faith and action through the dissemination of Islamic knowledge.
Our beautiful facility is located on 11.5 acres in the center of Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Palm Beach.
Our center is vibrant with masjid activities as well as a Full-time Islamic school. Weekend school, adult classes,youth programs, sports activities, health fairs, picnics, food pantry for the needy and interfaith dialogue.
Total Construction costs owed to the lender under a current shariah loan is currently $6.4 million. Funding needed to clear the masjid of foreclosure:
Immmediate need by June 2012 $ 1.4 million
Total commitment pledged $ 700,000
Remaing balance needed by June 2012 $ 700,000
Additional needs by December 2012 $5 million
Available Funds by Islamic Bank -$2 million
Remaining balance needed by Dec 2012 $ 3 million
